Edmonton Community Foundation remains committed to supporting local charities with grants and other forms of assistance.
In 2010, our Community Grants Program will continue to issue a wide variety of grants based on commitments made in previous years. These grants address community needs in the health, arts, education, and social services sectors. We will also continue to provide funding to the community through our donor advised, designated, and scholarship funds.
Because the impact of the economic downturn continues, funds available for disbursement are still limited. We are hopeful that we will return to our practice of accepting new requests for Community Grants Program funding at some point in 2010. We encourage charities to contact staff members from our Grants department for further information - and to check out our website for periodic updates.
