Call for Volunteers: Young Edmonton Grants (YEG) Committee

Are you between 13 and 24 years old and looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity to enhance your resume, collaborate with peers, and positively impact your community?

Edmonton Community Foundation (ECF) invites you to join the Young Edmonton Grants (YEG) Committee! The YEG Committee plays a crucial role in recommending up to $75,000 in grants supporting exciting, youth-led projects in the Greater Edmonton Area.

Why Join?

Volunteering with the YEG Committee offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible difference in your community while gaining valuable experience.

“The priority of Edmonton Community Foundation is just to foster youth development. And even if [the youth] make mistakes, I think that they wanted to encourage that kind of growth through learning from your mistakes, as opposed to getting everything right at the start.”
– George Xie, YEG Committee Member
