Empowering Progress
EEF is the philanthropic vehicle for EVER Real Estate Developments and RE/MAX Excellence to provide financial support to in areas of the greatest need, for the greatest positive change.
From the start, our mission has been to meaningfully address global and local challenges. While our altruistic motivations are personal, we’ve learned that focusing on areas of acute need has the greatest impact. Through targeted initiatives, we aim to make a tangible difference, one grant or scholarship at a time.
Our Mission
Our mission is to harness our networks, expertise, and resources to empower charities tackling large-scale, overlooked, and solvable challenges.
Large-scale, overlooked, and solvable. Let’s break it down:
Large Scale: We prioritize areas where our efforts yield the greatest social impact, gauged by the extent of improvement in people’s lives. A problem’s scale is considered greater if it affects more people, has more significant effects per person, and offers larger long-term benefits upon resolution.
Overlooked: The most pressing issues, where our impact is most profound, often lie in overlooked areas that are not receiving sufficient attention. We strive to maximize our impact by directing support towards these lesser-known areas, recognizing that our greatest contribution is made where efforts are lacking.
Solvable: We assess proposed charitable programs to determine if they will effectively address the problem at hand. Our evaluation process involves leveraging the knowledge of the Edmonton Community Foundation to examine evidence-based reporting to gauge the potential impact of each program.
Areas of Giving:
Our foundation is structured around three diverse ‘Areas of Giving,’ enabling each team member to connect with our ‘why’ and providing the flexibility to prioritize areas of greatest need. Every year, we alternate between “Our Neighborhood” and “Our World” to designate a grant aimed at creating meaningful impact, and each year between 15-20% of our fund allocation goes toward the Edmonton Community Foundation Scholarship Program, supporting the passion for “Our Origin”.

We believe in solid foundations and recognize the significant impact having the right knowledge and guidance can have in an individual’s career, and by extension their life.
Our Neighborhood
We believe in supporting the grassroots initiatives and charitable events that improve the quality of life for diverse groups of people in the Greater Edmonton Area.
Our World
We believe we have the opportunity – and responsibility – to help build a better future for our world. We care for each other and the planet by supporting like-minded organizations who seek solutions and spark change for future generations.

Our objective is to ignite the passion of the business community and rally support to breathe life into this enduring vision.

Both one-time donations and the annual contribution for Giving Society Members can be made using the below form.
Please note: Donations made to any fund listed on our online directory will be processed by www.canadahelps.org. You will receive an electronic tax receipt directly from CanadaHelps for the full amount of your donation. The fund you are supporting will receive the net amount of your donation less the CanadaHelps processing fee.
